From d9c11cf0e78cf13ff879f96b9350d92e201cda51 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Valentin Haudiquet Date: Fri, 2 Oct 2026 11:54:53 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] test: xfail binutils in the e2e catalog glibc 2.42 turned strstr into a macro with C2x redirect annotations in string.h, and gprofng's libcollector does not survive it: iolib.c:898 fails with 'expected identifier before _Generic'. Fixed upstream after the 2.45 snapshot this rebuild uses - a distro toolchain change hitting every rebuild, not pkh. --- tests/e2e/catalog.yml | 2 ++ 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+) diff --git a/tests/e2e/catalog.yml b/tests/e2e/catalog.yml index f0a5cfe..c62c335 100644 --- a/tests/e2e/catalog.yml +++ b/tests/e2e/catalog.yml @@ -167,6 +167,7 @@ packages: tags: [c, meson, init] xfail: FTBFS against python3-lxml 6.1 - it no longer consults custom resolvers for parameter entities, so make-directive-index fails with 'Entity entities not defined' on the man pages - distro toolchain change, package-side + # --- server --------------------------------------------------------------- - name: nginx category: server @@ -282,6 +283,7 @@ packages: - name: binutils category: toolchain tags: [c, autotools] + xfail: FTBFS against glibc 2.42+ - string.h turned strstr into a macro with C2x redirect annotations and gprofng's libcollector does not survive it ('expected identifier before _Generic') - upstream fixed it after 2.45, distro toolchain change - name: gdb category: toolchain
